Hacking hunger! How to sustainably feed 10 billion people

Food, Startups,

Meetups are independent community gatherings organized by Techfestival co-creators. Open to curious minds of all ages and backgrounds. Make sure to RSVP to secure your spot!

During Techfestival, Rockstart will host the “Hacking hunger! How to sustainably feed 10 billion people” meetup where we aim to inspire guests to create sustainable solutions to positively impact the food supply chain.

Program Director AgriFood, Mark Durno, introduces some on the main challenges faced in the food supply chain. What are the main problems we need to solve in the next 30 years? What is the size of the problem? What solutions are being put forward? How can AgriFood tech startups access capital?

We will be discussing the following topics:

  • Emerging tech. AI & Block chain;
  • New business models: marketplaces & SaaS;
  • Alternative Production & Consumption;
  • New Retail;
  • Investment in Agrifood;
  • Nordic made.

Come to this event to network with startups, investors, and corporates. Get on top of the latest know-how in the AgriFood tech scene and get access to samples and product demonstrations from innovative and/or sustainable AgriFood businesses.
