Drawing and visual communication are intrinsic parts of design thinking, but we tend to overlook them as we are immersed in high-pressure, high-paced working environments. However, the benefits that arise from having a very visual practice are huge, for you and your team.
Visual storytelling is a powerful tool to influence stakeholders and letting your team loose with a pack of sharpies in participatory design exercises creates a shared understanding of the problems you’re trying to solve. Graphic recording helps improve your visual thinking.
In this workshop I’ll share some of the tools and activities, that I learnt working as a facilitator, that you can easily introduce to your UX practice with only the necessary amount of disruptiveness. No previous drawing experience required.
