Mobility in Cities: Innovation or Preservation?

Cities, Energy,

Meetups are Techfestival’s co-created events: Hosted and curated by organizers from diverse tech communities – open to all curious minds!

The city of Copenhagen is today connected with an ever-growing array of mobility options, from car-shares like DriveNow and Greenmobility, to bike-shares like Donkeys. With the continuous expansion of the metro, plans to develop car highways and rings, self-driving cars and busses being tested, are bikes looking to get squeezed? We will dive into questions like: What does the future of urban mobility look like? What will be the main transportation modes and the modal share in cities? What does that require from the way we build cities and regulations? What is critical to get there and what are the main risks/threats? Is future urban transportation solved by public, private or shared vehicles?

Your host and speakers:
Torben Andersen – GreenMobility
Christian Bering – Autonomous Mobility
Johannes Teyssen – e.on
Erdem Ovacik (moderator) – Donkey Republic

Next event is: Traum - Christian Lemmerz
