Peter Sunde (SE): On Activism Online/Offline

You, Learn, Democracy,

Activism Online x Offline

In this talk, we have invited internet activist and Pirate Bay co-founder Peter Sunde (SE) to discuss how he sees the new frontiers and hacks in activism and mobilization both online and offline.

Peter Sunde Kolmisoppi, a Scandinavian hacker/artist, is working with projects that have the potential to change the society and particularly deals with questions of intellectual property rights. Sunde is best known for co-founding the controversial The Pirate Bay, the worlds biggest p2p network. Besides this involvement, Sunde founded Flattr, Njalla and similar services for alternative/distributed infrastructure.
He’s currently artist in residence at the Swedish art collective Konsthack and host a tv-series about activism airing in autumn 2019.
