Storytelling Conversation – Ingrid LaFleur and Maia Kahlke Lorentzen

Two critical thinkers and movers within tech will meet to discuss the ways in which literature has influenced their practice as activists. They will also talk about the importance of using writing as a tool, as well as touching upon the role of literature in modern day tech activism.

Books and storytelling are a vital part of the ongoing discussion of the role of technology in our lives. Although seemingly at odds with the digital age, analogue and tactile, they still provide us with food for thought when it comes to technology and politics, history, culture and philosophy. The true paradox is that the print medium is still one of the most crucial places to look for discussions about where we are going with technology in the future.

In this session we pair a Techfestival international guest with a Copenhagen based technologist. Join our hosts CPH Tech Book and Film Club in this session on the role of books, writing, reading, authorship in today’s digital reality.
